To begin moving in the direction of living a conscious life is truly a game changer for our nervous systems and recovery of damage done by stress.”

About Loop of Light

I have been honored to study with many brilliant teachers in my life, but one of my most influential teachers, Gary Kraftsow of the American Viniyoga Institute, https://www.viniyoga.com/ once said, “With correct understanding, things become lighter, not heavier.”

I wrote down that quote during my first training, thinking I understood intellectually what he was conveying.   However, at the time, I was young in my career and in life experiences; therefore, I had yet to fully grasp this idea or find awareness of what it means to live a “light-filled” existence.

My personal growth was sparked through the direct connection I have with my mentor and teacher, Chase Bossart who oversees my yoga and meditation practice.  By having my own mentor, I am able to receive support physically, identify ways in which I am imbalanced, and given therapeutic tools of movement, breath, meditation and lifestyle to bring me into a state of balance and clarity.  This connection has deeply refined my confidence, motivation, and passion to maximize my full potential in being of service to others through teaching, mentoring, and coaching.  And...through life's many challenges, it has been so useful to have a mentor listen, observe, and develop the right practice that provides stability in "rough waters".  I think of this connection as my "light house" guiding me back to my essence...home.

Loop of Light came to me as a way to see life as a process, not a destination...a full circle arrival of living an inspired “light-filled” life.  If you light a match and then turn the match upside down or sideways, the flame always travels in an upward direction. This is a great analogy to explain how light represents the universal symbol of consciousness, by moving in an upward stream.

When we are willing to step inside the circle and slowly link to our true essence, we are choosing the path less traveled -one that leads us toward happiness, consciousness, and ultimately, connection to all that is light.

Very best,
Stacey Loop
